Old people say that the only way to truly live a full life is to enjoy all aspects of it. For a stress-free life, some people focus on health and fitness, while others focus on relationships – Like, family and friends, for instance. You may find that living a simple life with family and close friends brings you great joy, but that isn’t necessarily the case with others as they want fame and fortune.

No matter your preference, sooner or later, you’ll realize that certain things actually come with equivalent stress and strain. Looking at successful individuals – And based on what experts have to say on the matter – here are some of the habits and/or traits that people to live a stress-free life:

They have some kind of help

You’re probably wondering how a single mom of two kids can become an active leader of the Parents-Teacher Association, or maybe how a couple can juggle two jobs while still being able to spend lots of time with one another. The answer: they have people who help them with the things that they can’t handle by themselves.

Of course, they have help. I mean, no man is an island, right? We had to have some kind of help at some time. It is practically one of the best productivity tips that you should follow so as to optimize your day.

They prioritize proper sleep, healthy eating, and exercise

Another great habit to have is choosing a healthy way, all the time. You should try to make routing of getting at least 7 hours of sleep per day – preferably during the night – eating right and doing an adequate amount of exercise daily in order to keep yourself healthy.

In short, what you have to do is to keep choosing healthy lifestyle above all else – Well, because when your body is healthy, then so is your mind. Plus, when you take good care of your body, then you’ll surely have a clearer head.

They try to avoid drama

If there’s one thing that I noticed from people who aren’t stressed, it’s that they don’t engage in drama at all. In fact, they try to avoid it as much as they can. Instead of using their energy for useless things like drama or gossip, they focus their energy into more positive things like helping others.

Sharing gossips might be thrilling at first, but it can quickly turn nasty sometimes. Remember that the world is round and that what goes around comes around. You might not see it now, but what you say right now might actually come back and smack you in the face.

They are go-getters who know how to fill their own bucket

They are people who know what they want and what they have to do to get it – In short, they are go-getters. If they know that they have a need for something, then they do whatever it takes to get it.

For instance, if they feel like they’re running out of energy, then they immediately do things that could let them replenish it – Like, catching up on a series on Netflix or just by enjoying a good book and good wine. If they want to watch something, then they watch it. They don’t rely on other people to make the decision for them.

To put it simply, if you want to avoid stress, then you should simply focus on the positive things and try to let go of the things that you can’t possibly control.
