Places You Need to Visit before You Turn 30

Traveling and seeing the world through your own eyes can be quite a rewarding experience. Seeing all the beautiful places, meeting new people, doing new things, and experiencing different cultures is guaranteed to enrich your life and help you learn more.

If you’re wondering when would be the best time to travel, then I’d say it would be during your twenties. Traveling while you are still young has a lot of advantages. One such advantage is that you still have a lot of energy to go through the stress of time differences and to have those long hikes or walks. More importantly, being in your twenties means that you don’t have that much responsibility yet, whether it is personal or not.

So, before you have any of those restrictions that you would have when you get older, take advantage of your youth and go see the world firsthand. For starters, here are some of the places you need to visit.

Machu Picchu, Peru

Machu Picchu is considered to be a hiker’s paradise. In order to get to Machu Picchu, hikers have to hike for at least two days through the Classic Inca Trail and at least four days through the Mollepata Inca Trail. If you can’t do the full four days, you can take the One Day Inca Trail instead.

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is made up of three overlapping trails: Mollepata, Classic, and One Day. The trail ends at Machu Picchu where you can see the amazing Incan ruins. Many tourists go to Machu Picchu all year round just to see the picture-perfect views.

Ibiza, Spain

If you’re the type to enjoy non-stop parties and drinking, then you’re going to love Ibiza. Ibiza is one of Spain’s Mediterranean islands. During the summer season, Ibiza is crowded with tourists who are seeking a party and a music-filled open area.

On top of that, Ibiza is crawling with relaxing beaches, classy bistros, pool parties, and yoga retreats, which makes it a great tourist destination for millennials in particular. If you want to avoid the scorching heat from June until mid-September, you can book your flight during the end of September when the heat isn’t as intense. Don’t worry because you can still catch the end-of-summer celebrations then.

Tokyo, Japan

Japan is undeniably one of the coolest tourist destinations in the world. There are a lot of things you can do in Japan. You can glimpse the past when you’re in Kyoto, while you can explore the future when you’re in Tokyo. Moreover, you can enjoy the beaches in Okinawa and play with the

monkeys at Nagano. You won’t regret going there because you will get to experience the diverse culture of Japan. Be amazed at all the breathtaking views and enjoy the delicious food. If you’re a fan of anime, you can come to Akihabara, or commonly called Akiba, and buy a lot of anime products.

Paris, France

Paris is one of the most traveled cities in the world. It has a rich history, nightlife, and food. If you’re in Paris, then go see the Louvre. The Louvre Museum is the largest art museum in the world. It is considered a historic monument and a central landmark of Paris. Dare to accomplish the breathless feat of climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower. You should also visit the ancient catacombs and the Pere Lachaise Cemetery where Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, and many other famous people are laid to rest.

Munich, Germany

If you love drinking beer, then you should definitely go to Munich from mid to late September for the annual Oktoberfest. The celebration is what the city is famous for, and it usually lasts for 16 to 18 days. It starts from mid or late September until the first Sunday of October.

Aside from that, you can also visit and sightsee some centuries-old buildings and museums, which are things that Munich is also famous for. Don’t forget to visit the beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus.

Now that you have some ideas of where you could travel, go plan your upcoming travel vacation. Enjoy the good things while you’re young and free. The world is waiting for you to go and explore it. So, good luck and travel safe!
