The art of yoga has been around for hundreds of years and has a wide following across the globe. For many of these years, the large attribution of enthusiasts has been women, until now. There is a stigma attached to yoga has often been enough to put men off from trying this extremely core-intensive workout. 

However, big named sportsmen such as Anthony Joshua and LeBron James have praised the exercise as a key to long-career success. So, you may be wondering why more men are doing yoga in 2019. Here are some of the top reasons:

It can decrease injury 

Yoga involves a lot of stretching and increases your flexibility massively. If you regularly do yoga, then your muscles will begin to stretch, which makes it much easier to become more fluid and aligned. Because of this, your flexibility improves tenfold and this decreases the likelihood of you being able to sustain an injury through other sports training.
